Robert Yarris has an extensive background in the healthcare industry, including 17 years’ experience in grant writing and grant application review. His expertise also includes administration and operations, budgets and staffing analysis, organization, teaching, public relations, and marketing. He is currently a consultant with Grossmont College, and is the former director of the Regional Health Occupations Resource Center and the Welcome Back Program of the International Health Workers Assistance Center.

Mr. Yarris has an MA in Human Resources Management and an MBA in Health Care Administration. He has served four elected terms on the Grossmont Healthcare District Board and serves on the Sharp/Grossmont Hospital Corporate Board and the San Diego Workforce Partnership’s Workforce Investment Board. Mr. Yarris resides in La Mesa with his family.
