Emerging Critical Needs
The First 5 Commission of San Diego County recognizes that there are critical needs that emerge from state and local economic conditions. To address these urgent needs, the Commission designated flexible funding, called Emerging Critical Needs, to support projects that address the most critical gaps in the safety net for young children and families.
On April 4, 2012 the First 5 Commission of San Diego revised the Emerging Critical Needs Policy. The revised policy, application instructions and forms are provided below.
