Elizabeth Donahue-Marucheau, L.C.S.W., B.C.D.
Elizabeth Marucheau is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Board Certified Diplomat with over 20 years experience in the field. She has dedicated her career to providing mental health services for infants, children, youth and their families in clinical, county and educational settings.
Ms. Marucheau has been actively involved in policy development helping to improve an integrated approach of service delivery through her work as a consultant for Columbia University, Mailman School of Public Health, and SAMHSA. Ms. Marucheau was the lead in developing the Children System of Care Training Academy, which was designed to advance federal and state initiatives throughout San Diego County’s child serving agencies. In addition, Ms. Marucheau has worked with all of the local school districts providing AB2726 assessment to students.
Currently, she operates her own private practice in La Mesa California providing direct psychotherapy services for infants, children, adolescents and adults with a focus on attachment theory. In addition, she teaches MSW graduate students and is part of the administrative team at SDSU School of Social Work. Ms. Marucheau is taking a lead role in advancing, throughout San Diego County, the implementation of early childhood standards. (California IF & ECMH Training Guidelines and Personnel Competencies).
