Aimee Zeitz

Aimee Zeitz has spent her professional career empowering young people and their families through program development and implementation, clinical interventions, community leadership and non-profit management. With a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University, Aimee has worked both in private practice and community settings, serving families throughout San Diego County.

Since relocating to San Diego in 2005, Aimee has worked with Girls Scouts, San Diego-Imperial County and North County Lifeline. Most recently, she supervised the Community Services for Families program to provide much needed parent education, support and case management for high-risk families in the North Inland Region of the County. Currently, Aimee works with United Way of San Diego County as a Community Impact Manager with a focus on stopping child abuse and neglect.

Aimee is an active member of the San Diego Fatherhood Network, the San Diego Family Support Network, and the Commission on Children, Youth and Families Committee on Child Abuse and Family Violence Prevention. She is looking forward to the opportunity to continue serving children and their families by supporting the great work of First 5 San Diego.

As a first-time parent, Aimee relishes any and all time she gets to spend with her infant daughter Alexis!
